The Pioneer Childrenβs Memorial pays tribute to the children whose lives were lost in their quest for a place of safety and peace.
Treasure seekers young and old will love the interactive mining activities at The Treasure House. Dig for gemstones in Prospectors Pit, and then identify your rocks at the Assay Station. Pan for gold in the creek under the shady oaks. Choose a giant geode and help break it in our Geode Cracker!
Other daily activities and sites include pony rides, train rides, the Native American Village, demonstrations form pioneer tradesmen, the Irrigation Station splash pad (open during Summer), shopping at The Gift Shop and ZCMI Mercantile Store, and much more!
You can grab a bite to eat at the Huntsman Grill and you can also find other tasty treats like Brigham's Donuts at the Social Hall and soft serve ice cream at the Ice Cream Parlor. Or, pack your own lunch and enjoy it at one of our picnic areas.
Western Trail Rides are now available at This Is The Place! Come enjoy iconic views, from the top of a horse, as many of the early settlers did. Book your horseback trail ride here!
