September at the Park

Between Labor Day and September 27 our Heritage Village daily programming will be a little different than during the summer. We’ve divided the Village into six “pods”, or areas, with one volunteer guide in each area. To begin your visit you may ride our train to any of these pods or you may walk through the Village to any pod. After visiting the buildings there, it’s back on the train or walk to another pod and another guide.

For little guests, we’ll have the ponies to ride and animals in the Petting Corral, and they can have a great time in the Pioneer Playground. At the Andrus Inn we’ll have crafts to keep small hands busy.

This revised programming offers you a relaxing way to visit the Village while affording us the time to get the place ready for Little Haunts and the scariest Haunted Village imaginable during October.

Enjoy your Park this fall!

Utah Welcome Home
Saturday & Monday Night

“Utah Welcome Home” is a musical comedy stage production written especially for This Is The Place Heritage Park. Performed by current and former members of the BYU Young Ambassadors, the show highlights Utah’s history and personalities from Brigham Young to the railroaders to Donny and Marie. The audience also learns about Utah’s contributions to our culture, such as traffic lights, computer games and, yes, Kentucky Fried Chicken.
